ONE KL

94 Apartments
95 Swimming Pool

That's the tagline for One KL

The lift opens up to what I thought was a water feature. But nooooo, my real estate agent told me that's the so called swimming pool ! good gawd, the depth of the water is only up to my knee (and I'm not a very tall person)

Here's the kitchen (nothing interesting).

and the double volume living room (again, no wow factor).

Because of the trapezium building shape, the view from your bedroom is .... the fire escape and the aircon ledge. Looks like the architect did not pay attention to details like this. What an ugly sight ! According to its website, this building is designed by SCDA Architects, a world renown architect from Singapore. (oh well, must be an oversight from them)

You might notice that the plastering workmanship is wavy and patchy. Apparently, the design & build contractor is Shimizu Corporation,  a leading international construction firm, with reputation for ensuring only the best quality ... seriously ?!!

The developer sure didn't spend any effort in landscaping.

and ... here is the 95th swimming pool !!
miserable isn't it ? there's absolutely no view from the swimming pool, well .. unless you don't mind looking up at the air con ledge while doing your backstroke.

To be honest, it really isn't worth the price tag of RM 3.5 million onwards. But, the location is fantastic though, just a stone's throw from Suria KLCC, Mandarin Oriental and some nightspots on Jalan Pinang and Jalan P Ramlee. Also it doesn't hurt to know that Datuk Michelle Yeoh is your neighbour.

I'm In Love with MK10

My real estate agent brought me to visit MK 10 yesterday.

While waiting for him, I studied the entrance to the development. The entrance had a roof over at the guardhouse. How thoughtful of the developer... with this design, the guards will not get wet in the rain when getting details from the visitors.

The spacious lobby is bathed in natural sun light and is furnished with resort-styled lounge sofas.

The blue-green swimming pool is surrounded by frangipani. I can just imagine myself reading a nice romance novel while my little girl takes a little swim.

Wish I'm a kid again ...

If you are a serious swimmer, there's also an infinity lap pool for you!
Oh, noticed that there are opennings on the wall to the right.

After doing my own exploring, I found a private sun tanning deck !

If the lap pool isn't the thing for you, try dipping in the bubbling jacuzzi.

You might have noticed that the facility deck is surrounded by grey steel structures. Those are actually multi-tiered walking decks with viewing deck. The developer has cleverly optimized the facilities area using these steel structures to create more walking track for the residents.

I've forgotten that I was suppose to view a unit here. Anyway the unit is nothing to shout about. Just wanted to share with you the view from the balcony of the unit.

Hmmmm, A'marine had better live up to my standard !!

My A'marine at Sunway South Quay

I am now a proud owner of A'marine, Lakeside Condominium at Sunway South Quay.

I've paid 5% for the downpayment and will only start serving the loan 3 years later as the developer is offering DIBS and 5% early bird discount !!

Check out the view from the balcony ...

I understand from the developer that there will be 3 corporate precinct coming up in Bandar Sunway. One of which have commenced piling right next to Menara Sunway.

If you don't already know, Sunway South Quay is also located near Monash University Sunway campus, Sunway University College, and Taylor's College. Definitely a good buy, as it will fetch good rental yield.

Last Sunday, there was a pre-launch at the Sunway South Quay Property Gallery for those who have registered in their website. There was an overwhelming response !! I overheard from the sales staff that already 50% have been taken up out of 242 units.

Want to know more about my future home ? Check out the website :)
