Seri Pilmoor at Ara Damansara

What drew me to Seri Pilmoor ? It's billboard ad on NKVE with an attractive tagline "Opening as wide as this billboard". I imagined a house being very open and airy.

So here I am. In front of the bungalow.

Noticed that the car porch roof is not linked to the main entrance door. Imagine getting down from your BMW on a rainy day and being drenched while running into the house, in your Jimmy Choo 3-inches heels.

Don't forget we are living in Malaysia.

oooo but I love the kitchen island

Imagine jamming here with my friends. Would have been more inspiring if they covered the wall with posters of Bob Marley, Aerosmith, Queen, Pearl Jam (or maybe even Avril Lavigne).

Imagine sipping a glass of pina colada while soaking in the roof top jacuzzi ...

I love how the natural sunlight brightens up the roof top pavilion (beautiful girl not included)

A dedicated games room

Looking down into the living room from the first floor. Glass window everywhere (makes you wonder how to clean those unreachable windows).

Back to the car porch, I find that the car porch design is not friendly. The car park layout is horizontal. Refer to my first photo and also check out the floor plan at their website and you'll know what I mean.

Also for that kind of price tag (>RM 4 mil), buyers are only getting homogeneous tiles (what ... no marble ?!) Call me old fashion, but isn't marble a standard for this kind of property.

So what do you think ?

BayRocks at Sunway South Quay

Recently, I was invited by an interior designer to view her latest work at BayRocks, Sunway South Quay.

As I stepped into the entrance foyer I was greeted by ...

As I took the lift up to the main living area, I was awed (again) by the hand-carved marble wall ...

The decor gave me a very rich and opulent feeling, which is suitable for this exclusive garden waterfront villas.

You even get a poodle in the master bedroom ... niceeeee

I like how they use the sticker to create the chandelier on the glass wall.

I can imagine myself entertaining my VIP guests here ... wine, anyone ?

Hmm noticed that the table mat is different ? The interior designer changed it to a customed-made table mat.

Flowers seem to be quite prominent in her decor style.

I can't wait for the interior design to be completed ! Will definitely come back to see the finished product.
